Years ago, I used to tell my team,
“Buckle up... it’s going to be slow until January. Hang with me.”
And guess what?
It was slow.
Because I’d already told everyone that it would be.
That one line was all it took to shape our results for the next two months.
I was literally setting the stage for no sales.
That one was on me.
The next year, I changed the message.
I woke up and said,
“We are crushing it right now, and we’re going to carry this through the holidays.”
Same team. Same season.
Completely different results.
We kept booking.
We kept selling.
And we finished the year stronger than ever.
